Janisse Cruz is an architect graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana Puebla. She has 10 years of experience in the development of urban and research projects, specializing in landscape and public space design, as well as 5 years of experience in project coordination.
She joined the a|911 team in 2013, where she participated in the development of projects, competitions, and master plans for public space and landscape. In 2010, she completed a diploma in Landscape Architecture from the University of Granada / C+, and from 2016 to 2017, she completed a diploma in Urban Design at UNAM. She has complemented her professional training with botanical studies and workshops abroad.
In 2018, she won the a|911 travel fellowship with her research project “Underline: Study of landscape and territory transformation through drawing”, carried out in East China. Currently, she is a Landscape Director, specializing in the development of landscape architecture projects from the architectural to the urban scale, with a research focus on public space, drawing, and territory.
