Ernesto Lomelí is an architect who graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He worked at Ernesto Betancourt’s architectural firm and obtained second place in the competition for the Rehabilitation of the Urban Space of Plaza San Francisco de Asís in Cuzco. Since 2004, he has collaborated with a|911 on various architecture and urban planning projects, including the BRT Zero Emissions Central Axis Corridor, BRT Neza – Chimalhuacán, ARA Iztacalco housing developments, ARA Doctores, ARA Zaragoza II, the Amara beach residential complex, Arco 57 Logistics Platform Master Plan, corporate offices for Steelcase, and the improvement program for the San Francisco Housing Unit in the Iztapalapa Delegation, among others. Additionally, he has participated in various architectural competitions such as the Center for Performing Arts of the UdG in Guadalajara, CEDIM Design School in Monterrey, Laudería School in Querétaro, Bicentennial Arch in Mexico City, among others. He has also worked with the Public Space Authority in the development of executive projects within the Bajo Puentes Circuito Bicentenario program.
