Project Description:

The project consists of a 10-kilometer exclusive lane for public transit with low-impact stations. The proposal also contemplates the renovation of the biking and pedestrian infrastructure. These interventions seek to transform this area of the city through the fostering of a friendlier daily dynamic that relates to public space and the mobility of the citizenry.

The layout of the route connects the eastern part of downtown with the western part. The transit system also circulates from north to south in order to increase its service and capture as much users as possible. This new BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) complements the existing Metrobus lines, the zero emissions corridor on Eje Central, and the multiple metro stations in the area.
