Ernesto Lomelí

Lomelí is a practicing architect living and working in Mexico City. He holds a bachelor of architecture from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in Mexico City. After graduate, Lomelí worked with the office of architect college paper writers Ernesto Betancourt in the Rehabilitation of Urban Space Plaza San Francisco de Asís of Cuzco contest, getting second place.
In 2004, Lomelí joined the a I 911 team. Some of the projects he has been working on this firm are the Performing Arts Center in the University of Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Jalisco; Centro de Estudios Superiores de Diseño de Monterrey in Monterey, Nuevo León; BRT Neza-Chimalhuacán in Estado de México, Iztacalco, Lázaro Cárdenas and Zaragoza II housing complexes for ARA in Mexico City, beach housing complex in Cancún, among others. He is also part of the team of the multi-awarded winning project Elena Garro Cultural Center and participated with the Public Space Authority on the executive development project Under Bridges Circuit Bicentennial.
